Winter here is called the dawn of festive season, and Christmas is celebrated here as much as the rest of the world. Goa has museums to visit, adventure sports and beautiful white sandy beaches. If, visiting in February you should not miss the three day carnival event.

Number 7. Maldives is an extremely relaxing place to take a winter break with crystal clear waters and some of the best beaches in the world. Activities that are popular here are wind-surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving and kite boarding. The temperature is constant all year round here at around 24 to 33, so you don’t have to worry about the forecast.

Number 8. Bora Bora is one of those famously romantic places, ideal for a winter getaway with a loved one. The island is famous for its luxury resorts along with peace and tranquility. The best winter month to vacation here is January due to the lack of rainfall during that month.

Number 9. Barbados is a particularly unique experience due to the coral reef and marine life. It is also unique because they offer submarine tours where you will dive to 150 feet to visit sunken ships and see the most incredible marine life in its natural habitat. Other places of interest include a cave accessed via tramway, a wildlife reserve and windmills.

Number 10. Palm Beach, Aruba is a very famous beach used in many ads, even though it is only a couple of miles in length it draws tourists because of the snowy white sands and calm waters. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and accommodation is never a problem, there are also bars here too.
